Welcome

My name is Mostafa Hamza Sayed. Currently, I am working for Microsoft as a software engineer in Bing Team.

Prior to joining Microsoft in 2021, I was Software Engineering Team Lead at Autodata Solutions (a J.D. Power company). I worked with and lead a wonderful team of Software Engineers, Database Administrators, and Quality Assurance Engineers. Previously, I also worked for the City of Calgary as a Senior IT Consultant looking after a set of development projects related to application portfolio management (APM), Supply Management and Corporate Economic Index. I worked as Software Support Engineer, Delivery Project Manager, and Life Cycle Manager for IBM (2009-2014) looking after our clients besides planning and executing the restructuring of the support services for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

I lectured in many universities and colleges in both Canada and Middle East. I have 15+ years of experience in both academia and industry.

I received my PhD. from University of Calgary in 2019 specialized in Software Engineering working in LSMR Lab at the Department of Computer Science under the supervision of professor Robert J. Walker and Dr. Maged Alasaar. I received my BSc. and MSc. in Computer Science in 2007 & 2012 from the American University in Cairo, Egypt.

I am PMP, green-belt six sigma, ITIL, Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I), Microsoft Ceritifed Solution Developer (MCSD) certified
